Estee Lauder releases the ”Pure Color Envy Lipsticks” a long-lasting lipstick that sculpts your lips! They come in 20 GORGEOUS shades to suit any personality and skin tone.
I had an opportunity to see the lipsticks in Dubai last month and meet Estee Lauder’s Global Director of makeup artistry Blair Patterson. He showed us how the lipsticks work and about all the research that went behind making them.
First off, the packaging of the lipstick is soooo luxurious, different then all the other lipsticks from Estee Lauder but at the same time very classic Estee Lauder. Feels solid in your hands and also has a magnetic closer which is super nice. The lipsticks are highly pigmented and creamy in texture. What makes these lipsticks different is how light weight they are while still being highly pigmented! They hydrate like a lip balm, and the hydrating feeling lasts even after you remove the lipstick. Lots of lipsticks claim to be long-lasting, some are some aren’t. You won’t believe how long lasting these lipsticks are. Even if you apply one of the darker colors and remove it, it leaves a stain. So no joke when I say it lasts over 6 hours without a need to touch up.
What’s more interesting about the lipsticks is that you can create smooth lines with it, so no need to line the lips it shapes as it applies. Whats really nice about them as well is what you see only gets better, so apply the lipstick and let it settle into the lips and watch how the color gets richer and molds into your lips. You can tell that Estee Lauder really thought about all aspects of a good lipstick and put it all together in this one. It’s perfect.
The lipsticks are available at all Estee Lauder counters across the Middle East (Yes, Saudi as well) – 180sr
