The Complete Festive Home Spa For Eid

All set to pamper yourself to look your festive best this Eid ?

1. Refresh your skin

What you’ll need:

  •  2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  •  1 teaspoon baby oil
How to:

Mix both ingredients and smooth onto face, neck, rough elbows and knees, or any other dry skin patches around your body. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse off with cold water.

 

2. Nourishng Hair Mask

What you’ll need:

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  •  2 tablespoons honey

How to:

Heat the olive oil for approximately 20 seconds and mix in the honey afterwards, thoroughly. Apply the mixture on dry hair and cover it with either a shower cap or a warm towel for about 20 minutes. Remove and rinse hair with warm water, followed by shampoo, preferably one without colors or scents.

 

 3. Tightening Toner

What you’ll need:

  • • ½ lemon’s juice
  • • 1 egg white

How to:

Beat the egg white and lemon juice for 3 minutes and apply directly onto your face (leaving the eyes). Keep on for half an hour and rinse off with warm water.

 

4. Strengthening Nails Solution

What you’ll need:

  • • A small bowl
  • • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • • ½ lemon’s juice

How to use:

Mix the liquids together in the bowl. Dip your nails in the solution for 10 minutes and wipe off. Apply moisturizing cream afterwards to retain moisture.

Tip: Fill an empty and clean nail polish bottle and apply once a week for beautiful, healthy nails.

 

5. Foot Spa

What you’ll need:

  • ½ cup of Epsom salts
  • Essential oils

How to:

Fill a big bowl or your own bathtub (to your feet level) with warm water. Dissolve the salts and add the essential oils (choose between lavender, rosewood and sandalwood, preferably). Soak for 10-15 minutes. Pat dry and moisturize.

 

6. Cleansing Body Scrub

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup sea salts
  • ½ cup baby oil

How to:

Stir the ingredients together and seal in a jar. Put away for around 24 hours. Stir the mixture and apply to any areas of the body to exfoliate. Massage onto skin and then shower off. Pat dry.

 

7. Lip Balm

What you’ll need:

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon almond oil
  • ½ teaspoon grated beeswax

How to:

Combine all ingredients in a microwave-able container and heat for 1-2 minutes. Apply once/twice daily.

Tip: If you like color but would rather lip-balm-it, mix in a pinch of your favourite shade of lipstick. (:
