Cover up
This might be one of the easiest ways to protect the scalp hair from the sun’s damaging rays. Spruce up your wardrobe and wear a fun beach hat to avoid a sunburnt scalp. If hats aren’t your thing, you will want to put sunscreen where your scalp is exposed. Spray a makeup sponge with sunscreen and dab it along the part to keep your scalp protected.

Take a break

Summer is a great time to lay off the blow-dryer and air-dry instead. Ponytails and braids are perfect for when you need to throw hair back in a pinch, or try a no-fuss top knot for instant sophistication. Simply pull hair into a high ponytail, twist the hair into a circular shape around the elastic, and secure with hair pins.

As the temperature rises, spend less time worrying about your scalp and hair by following these simple, summer hair care tips!

My hair is in a bad state right now 🙁 I’m shedding like crazy! I’m trying to be as gentle on my hair as possible but so far I’m not seeing much improvement….
