Dior Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2015-16 Show Makeup by Peter Philips

The Dior Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2015-2016 show took place on Monday July 6th, 2015 in the gardens of the Rodin Museum.

Make-up: Created and styled by Peter Philips for Dior Haute Couture Autumn Winter 2015-16 runway show.

Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Make-up, created a natural and minimalist look, recalling the beauty of a Flemish painting.

“The make-up reveals a very pure aesthetic,” explains Peter Philips. “I designed it to accompany Raf Simons’s modern collection. It suits the spectacular volume of the unconventional silhouettes, presenting an ethereal yet very contemporary heroine. This young woman is angelically beautiful, yet still evocative, and subtly sensual,” he adds. “Her face looks like something out of a Flemish painting, and she looks like a Botticellian beauty, version 2.0.”
