DIY Haircare: Natural Hair Rinse

With all the hair products we use on our hair, it’s natural for a build up to accumulate and cause our hair to wither away and look unhealthy. What your hair needs is an all natural hair rinse that will wash away the products and leave your hair soft and healthy.

What you’ll need

  • 1 quart of water1_apple-cider-vinegar-for-acne-prone-skin
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Optional: a few drops of your favourite essential oil

How to use

  • Whilst taking a shower, apply this hair rinse after you’ve shampoo-ed.
  • Massage the mixture into your scalp and leave on for 5 minutes. Be careful not to use too much as it can end up leaving your scalp too dry.
  • Rinse off. Your hair might seem to stink, but it’ll be gone once it’s dry. If not, massage the drops of your favourite essential oil with the hair rinse and it’ll keep the ‘aroma’on the low.

This all natural hair rinse is good enough for use once a month. However, if you feel like your hair is still soaked up with products like shampoo and conditioner, once in two weeks is good. (:
