P&G Prestige Brands Sweep 2014 Fragrance Awards


A slew of P&G Prestige perfume brands – part of Procter & Gamble’s fine fragrance division – won big at the fifth annual Fragrance Awards hosted by the Fragrance Foundation Arabia on December 3 at The Gate, DIFC, Dubai. Dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the fragrance world, the award ceremony aims to recognize excellence in the region’s perfume industry.


P&G Prestige garnered a total of five honors in the coveted Fragrance of the Year category.

Gucci Oud won in the Arabian Prestige – Women’s Fragrance section; Dolce & Gabbana’s Dolce was crowned International Prestige – Best Women’s Fragrance; Dolce & Gabbana’s Velvet Desert Oud took home the Arabian Prestige – Men’s Fragrance award; Hugo Boss’ Boss Nuit scooped up the International Popular Appeal – Women’s Fragrance trophy; and Lacoste L!VE earned the International Popular Appeal – Men’s Fragrance honor.


The prestigious awards for the exclusive and elite fragrances aim at honoring the creative achievements of regional and international fragrance houses, attracting the who’s who of the fragrance industry.
