Samer Khouzami’s Secret Foundations

Samer Khouzami (@samerkhouzami Instagram account) is only 28 years old but has created a global name for himself as the king of contouring. His makeup transformations are unbelievable and have created a huge stir on Instagram. Samer who is originally from Lebanon tours the world with sold out makeup workshops where he teaches his makeup secrets to eager students. I recently got to attend his makeup Master Class in Bahrain and found out from the man himself which foundations he uses.

Samer told us he doesn’t keep a lot of foundations in his kit, just two from each brand – a light and a dark. He mixes the foundations to create the perfect match for the face he is working on. As you’ll see from the list below he has a lot of medium to full coverage foundation that are long-wearing. Here is his list of secret foundations:

Estee Lauder Double Wear has a reputation. It has been around for years and has developed a loyal fan following. It’s a full coverage foundation that is extremely long wearing. It photographs well and is very easy to work with. It comes in a great color range.

Makeup Atelier is a french brand that is not as well known but have excellent quality products. You can find their stores in Paris, Dubai, UK and Lebanon. You can also order them online. Check out the entire range, they have some really fabulous products.

3. By Terry Cover Expert

By Terry Cover Expert is long lasting foundation that gives a even finish to the skin. It allows the skin to breathe and offers a light to medium coverage.

4. Marc Jacobs Foundation

Marc Jacobs foundation has gotten rave reviews. Its a gel based foundation that gives a flawless finish to the skin. It’s long-wearing and offers a medium to full coverage.
