2014 Grammy Awards: Hazy Eyes & Highlighted Skin Ruled the Red Carpet

The 2014 Grammy Awards was a fashion-filled night where stars dressed in everything from sparkling gowns to bold cocktail dresses.  This year’s makeup looks swayed away from usual dewy skin with a strong focus on bold cheekbone highlights (which I LOVED!!).  Here are my favorite looks:

1.  Taylor Swift

My favorite look of the night was Taylor Swift!  She looked WOW with her gold Gucci Premier gown paired with a simple ponytail.  Her makeup complimented her dress beautifully – the silvery shadow at the inner corner of her eye with a soft smoky shadow helped her eyes pop.  I loved her strong cheekbone highlight which brought her look all together.

2.  Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy had a gorgeous bronze makeup look paired with hazy eyes and finished with a nude glossy lip.  The highlight of her makeup was the gorgeous cheekbone glow which really made her makeup look wow.

3.  Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton played with a bronze smoky eye look, dramatic lashes paired with a glossy nude lip.  Her cheekbones were strong and defined with a heavy contour and gleaming highlight.

4.  Ciara

Ciara’s dress wasn’t the only thing that was shining – there is nothing more radiant then a expecting mother’s glow. Her makeup looked luminous with soft contouring and highlighting paired with a shimmery shadow and lip color.

5.  Beyonce

Queen B always looks amazing.  Her perfect skin, soft smoky eyes paired with a vampy lipstick looked ultra chic.  Her strong cheekbone highlight really stood out under the lights and flashing cameras.
